Workshop on Advanced Graphics Design Successfully Held at FIU

Today, 10 May 2025, FIU Computer and Engineering Club hosted a successful workshop on Advanced Graphics Design. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Professor Alauddin Mia, Controller of Examinations at Fareast International University, Mr. Abu Zaman, Head of the EEE Department, Deputy Registrar Mamun Ul Matin, Assistant Deputy Director of the Student Welfare Association Tarequl Islam Bhuiyan, Acting Club Moderator S. M. Nahid Hasan, Advisory Members Anika Tasneem Islam and Ayesha Akter, Club Chairperson Fatima Tuz Johra, along with other dedicated club committee members.

The program, conducted by the club’s Secretary, Md. Anisur Rahman, commenced with a heartfelt welcome speech by Acting Moderator S. M. Nahid Hasan. He took a moment to honor the club’s founder and former moderator, Md. Rifat Hasan, dedicating the workshop to his visionary leadership.

Following this, the distinguished guests shared their insights, emphasizing the significance of creative skills in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Professor Alauddin Mia then formally inaugurated the workshop, marking the beginning of an insightful session led by renowned graphics designer and FIU student, Md. Sakhawat Hossain.

The workshop, which spanned approximately an hour and a half, drew enthusiastic participation from students across various departments, including CSE, Law and Justice, CEE, Chemistry, and Islamic Studies. The remarkable engagement of the attendees and the exceptional delivery by the trainer made the event a resounding success, leaving a lasting impression on all participants.
